Festive Holiday Tidings from your friends at the Alameda County Democratic Party.
We invite Democrats and allies to join us for our annual holiday party on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 7 to 9 PM. The Alameda County Democratic Party members will provide the potluck.
We especially welcome community members who helped us pass California’s game changing Proposition 50, a gift for democracy which puts Democrats on a much clearer path to take back the U.S. House next year.
Bring a non-perishable item or donate to our annual Food Drive to benefit the Alameda County Community Food Bank.
In a world where the answer is far too often, no, there is one person who, for generations, has been the unstoppable force leading with “¡Sí Se Puede!” ¡Sí Se Puede! to housing, healthcare, and living wage union jobs! ¡Sí Se Puede! to civil rights, climate action, and defending our democracy! And ¡Sí Se Puede! to protecting our freedoms and standing up for our neighbors!
The Alameda County Democratic Party is thrilled to announce that civil and human rights leader, labor organizer, and UFW co-founder Dolores Huerta will join us at the AC Dems 53rd Unity Dinner, on Saturday, October 11th, as our 2025 Lifetime Achievement Awardee.

The Alameda County Democratic Party strongly condemns ICE’s recent abduction of a family in Oakland, in their home, without a warrant. This inhumane raid targeted someone with a severe disability and a minor who was inappropriately detained at a facility for adults until legal advocates intervened. In these dangerous times, we remind all Alameda County residents that you have the right to remain silent and do not need to open your door for an ICE agent unless they have a federal warrant signed by a judge.

Join the ICE out of Dublin Coalition and Bay Area Japanese American organizations on Saturday, July 19th at 11:00 AM to say NO to new detention centers in Northern California and across the US. We must not let an ICE detention facility open in Dublin, CA. Our community members are more likely to be arrested & detained by ICE in counties with more detention beds. This is our moment to speak out, take action, and stand in solidarity with our community members!
Tsuru for Solidarity, in partnership with the ICE out of Dublin Coalition and Bay Area Japanese American organizations, calls on our communities to say NO to new detention centers in Northern California and across the US. This family-friendly action will feature powerful speakers, arts and crafts for kids, and opportunities to plug in and take action together.
Bring your signs, water, sun protection, and POWER! If you plan to drive, please park at Dublin BART. At 10:30am, some participants will walk over from Dublin BART to the rally location.
