Geoffrey's Inner Circle

In 1973, the Niagara Movement Democratic Club was established in Oakland to bolster the voice of the Black community and ensure equal representation in politics.  This year marks 45 years since the inception of the organization, and we’ve entered 2018 with great enthusiasm to honor and celebrate our founders.  Niagara is committed to forging ahead with intentional plans for social change.

We invite you to join us in recognizing and celebrating this important milestone as a premier sponsor on Friday, March 2nd for our 45th Anniversary Gala Dinner.  The event will take place at Geoffrey’s Inner Circle (410 14th Street, Oakland, CA) beginning with a cocktail reception at 5:30pm, followed by a dinner program at 7pm with a special guest speaker.

Although many years have passed, issues still remain unresolved for our urban communities.  The time is now!  Niagara’s mission is and has always been to create equity and equality. Together, we can create and sustain a healthy, thriving community.
