Date(s) - Wednesday, February 8, 2017
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Alameda Hospital

Prior to this election there were serious wounds to heal between Police and Community. In the age of Trump, there is legitimate concern about what tact our Police Department will choose or might be asked to take in the days, months and years to come.

Please join the City of Alameda Democratic Club for this Panel Discussion/Community Town Hall with Police Chief Paul Rolleri – Alameda Police Department, Laurie Valdez – lost her partner to police violence, dedicated to changing policy and educating others about the suffering of children left behind, Brother Zakee Madyun and Sister Rabi’a Keeble, Kirsten Quint Fairbanks, Founder of Alameda 4 Black Lives, Malia Vella – Alameda’s newly elected City Council member and instructor of ethics at Mills College, and Bronwyn Harris – Educator and author of “Literally Unbelievable: Stories from an East Oakland Classroom”

This will also be our regular membership meeting, and any club business will be discussed after the panel.

Paid for by the Alameda County Democratic Central Committee, P.O. Box 3937 Hayward, CA 94540-3937.
Not authorized by any candidate or candidate committee.
